Rubber compound means mixing of raw rubber with another chemical substances in order to increase its potential and performance. When raw rubber (whether it is natural, EPDM, Nitrile) is mixed with chemicals such as sulphur, it causes vulcanization and it creates crosslinks thus making the rubber elasticity harder. Read more
