Rubber Orings
Oring is a kind of gasket which is developed in shape of ring in order to handle compression between parts. Using orings in such manner makes them the best seal and it is commonly seen in machine designs. Orings are mainly used to prevent air or fluid from escaping, thus acting as a sealing agent. When the ring is squeezed between surfaces, it prevents any air of fluid to escape. They easily retain their shape and thus once orings are release they retain their original shape. Orings can be made of different materials (natural, neoprene, silicon, Viton, etc.) depending on applications and cost.
Dowty Washer
Dowty seals are also known as bonded seals and they are mainly used to tighten connection nears bolts and screws. They are made of metal and elastomer material. As they are developed from premium material, they are highly resistant to wear and tear resulting into long lasting durability. Dowty washers are designed in such a way that they reduces leaks and waste maintaining high level of performance. Mainly these washers are produced using Viton material which makes them highly resistant to heat and certain chemicals. Dowty washers help in reducing maintenance costs and downtime and thus they are considered as cost effective solution.
Anti vibration pads
The main purpose of anti vibration pad is to resist shock and vibration which can damage a particular piece. The anti vibration pads isolate or dampen the high frequency vibrations to decrease noise and instability. As they are made form high quality rubber, they have visco-elastic properties which allows them to absorb energy without causing any damage to structural integrity. As far as anti vibration pads are concerned, they are used in equipment, machines, washing machines, etc.
Rubber gaskets
Rubber gaskets are the components which are mainly used to mechanically seal the gaps between two mating joints or surfaces. Rubber gaskets helps in maintaining leak proof sealing during operations. Basically they create a static seal between two stationery members of an assembly. They are mainly made from flexible and flat sealing material depending upon applications. Some of the common materials used are rubber, silicon, PTFE, etc.
