Rubber Compounds & Sheets

Rubber compounds

Rubber compound means mixing of raw rubber with another chemical substances in order to increase its potential and performance. When raw rubber (whether it is natural, EPDM, Nitrile) is mixed with chemicals such as sulphur, it causes vulcanization and it creates crosslinks thus making the rubber elasticity harder. After vulcanization, other chemicals are added which decided the hardness and other characteristics of rubber compound. These rubber compounds are used in molding and extrusion processes as well.

Silicon compounds

Silicon rubber compounds are popular in market due to its characteristics. Silicon compounds have high binding energy which makes then heat resistant, gives chemical stability, flame retardant and has electrical properties. Silicon rubber compounds have exceptional weatherability. Silicon rubber can be immersed in water whether it is cold or warm for longer periods with water absorption of less than 1% without affecting mechanical strength. Silicon compounds are resistant to oil, solvents and ither chemicals. They are higher in price as compared to other rubbers but they are a good option.

Rubber sheets

Rubber sheet is considered as a versatile product which ahs number of applications. Rubber sheets can be neoprene sheets, silicon sheets or any other kind of rubber sheet. Rubber sheets are commonly used for development of gaskets which are mainly used for filling the space of two mating surfaces. They are also used to generate orings. Rubber sheets can be used for electrical insulation as well.

Industrial mats

Industrial floor mats are very important part of workspaces as it reduces slips, falls and trips. There are different types of mats available such as rubber mats, anti slip mats, oil absorbent mats, etc. The right type of floor mat can be selected based on your location, surface and application.

Eva sheets

Eva sheets are very commonly used in Gyms in order to hold a grip. It is also used in school playgrounds and play areas as it makes the floor anti slippery.

Champion sheet

Champion sheets are available in different styles and both metallic and non metallic. They are used for application against wet and dry steam water, alkalies, gases, oil unto certain temperature, fuels and chemicals. Champion sheets are also used for general engineering. Champion style 39 is also provided with wire gauze insertion in graphited finish.
